Located in the Shelter Cove Marina, Adventure Cruises has two different adventures to choose from. Bring your family on a dolphin watching trip or sport crabbing cruise for the entire day. With lots of free parking surround their base of operations, it’s possible to stay all day! This is one of the most popular and family friendly activities on Hilton Head Island. 

The Art League of Hilton Head is a nonprofit organization that provides the island with a synegistic art gallery and teaching academy. For over 44 years they have welcomed artists and students at all levels and in all media. Be sure to stop by if you love art!

For kids who want to do more on their vacation and indulge in their creative side, the Arts Center offers half- and full-day workshops for kids, adults and families. Also offering summer programs in dance and theater with their current performers and cast of the summer’s feature production's. 

Operated by the Hilton Head Audubon Society, an inland park featuring walking trails that pass through various local flora and fauna. A poular birding location, the park is open from dawn to dusk, and offers self-guided walks daily and weekly guided walks in the spring and fall. Parking is available and a kiosk at the entrance provides maps and information. 

At the Coastal Discovery Museum, you can discover history, local heritage, and learn about environmental and coastal education that you can’t find anywhere else at Hilton Head. With historic buildings, butterfly enclosures, gardens, kids zone and marine research, it’s educational fun for the whole family. Offering on and off site tours of land and experiences on the water including various programs and lecture series that can suit everybody's interests. 

Experience historical Lowcountry pre-Civil War life with a guided tour of the Cole-Heyward House. Then stroll down the picturesque and historic oak-lined streets while learning about the history, architecture, and the cultural heritage of Old Town Bluffton.

Known as Hilton Heads downtown, Coligny Plaza has everything a shopper could want or need. Although Coligny is known for its destination boutique shopping, fresh dining and nightly live entertatinment, it is also Hilton Heads first and oldest shopping center. They have a variety of shops ranging from one of a kind clothing stores and local offerings to popular beach brands and gift and specialty items. They also offer a single screen "art house" movie theatre featuring independent films targeted for a mature audience. "Find it at Coligny"

Comedy-magician Kerry Pollack, is the owner and resident headliner that appears nightly. Also featuring guest performers from some of the top comedy clubs in the country. The performances are described as "funny but not filthy" staying with the family entertainment found on Hilton Head Island. 

Have a blast after dark in Hilton Head and experience the nocturnal wildlife. Ghost crabs and other night creatures will be out exploring and you will find it’s a great way to see rare LowCountry inhabitants as well as find a night’s worth of learning and entertainment.

The Gullah are the descendants of West African enslaved who lived in the Lowcountry regions of South Carolina's, coastal plain and the Sea Islands since before the Civil War. A two-hour bus tour through 10 Gullah-Geechee neighborhoods on Hilton Head Island narrated by Hilton Head Island raised Gullah natives focusing on the Gullah-Geechee heritage, its language, foods, historical sites and folklore.

The Lighthouse is Sea Pines most beloved landmarks, a beacon for the ships arriving to the Yacht basin and is a staple of any visit to the area. The lighthouse is open daily from 10am to sundown for tours and maritime museum, so be sure to stop by and see this historic place.

The island's first brewery on the North end of the Island. They offer tours and have a tasting room that offers beer flights, pints, growlers, cans, and retail sales including t-shirts, koozies, keychains, beer soap, and pint glasses. Open everyday from mid-afternoon until happy hour.
